Last Saturday, the town of Beasain blossomed with its first successful Flower and Plant Fair in Erauskin Square, attracting hundreds of visitors.

The Goierri town transformed into a gathering place for those with an affinity for the plant world. Few could resist stopping, browsing, and ultimately leaving with a plant in hand or a bouquet of flowers.
Between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM, the public continuously moved through the various stalls, discovering an offer as diverse as it was colorful. Fruit trees, rose bushes, and shrubs shared space with indoor plants, seasonal species, aromatics, cacti, and succulents. Additionally, seeds, natural cosmetic proposals, and delicate handcrafted items made with pressed flowers were also available.
One of the day's greatest attractions was the personal interaction. At each stall, producers and artisans patiently attended to those seeking advice, answering questions and sharing knowledge about the care, origin, and specific characteristics of each plant.
The event, promoted by the Beasain City Council in collaboration with the Dekolore association, brought together professionals from various locations, including Mintaka Landareak and Islaya from Oiartzun; Ortuberri from Iurreta; Haztegiak El Montañés from Tafalla; Lore Prentsatua from Donostia; Hazi ekologikoak from Lasarte; Sojo Natura from Lekunberri; Sara Letamendia from Aizarna; and Tissus Artisautza from Atxondo. All of them contributed their unique touch to a fair that, in its first edition, already demonstrated its potential.
