The Euskadi Plaza in Zumárraga will become an open space for music and dance on September 6th with the celebration of ‘Salsa Topagunea’. Its main objective is to bring rhythms and cultural expressions linked to salsa closer to the citizens.
The event will commence at 6:00 PM with an open master class, offering participants the chance to learn basic salsa steps and get their first taste of the dance. Following this, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the group Proyecto Son will perform a live concert. The day will conclude with a DJ session.
This gathering is part of the program ‘Sustraiak eta ahotsak. Raíces conectadas’. The program aims to make visible the diverse communities and collectives residing in Gipuzkoa and to spread their voices as an active part of the territory's social and cultural reality.
According to Culture Deputy Goizane Álvarez, the initiative seeks to “promote an open and plural Gipuzkoa”, where all individuals have the opportunity to participate equally in cultural life.
