The cancer association in Gipuzkoa has raised 5,198 euros during an annual collection drive in San Sebastián. The funds will support oncological research and free services for patients.

Thanks to the generosity of the residents of San Sebastián, the organization collected 5,198.68 euros last Saturday, the 13th. This amount demonstrates social support for those affected by the disease, as well as commitment to healthcare professionals and volunteers.
This year's campaign was held under the slogan When you stop, we move against cancer. The initiative encourages citizens to stop at information tables to activate a collective movement that promotes scientific research and improves patient care.
The funds raised will be allocated to financing oncological research projects, maintaining the association's free services, support programs for families, and ongoing prevention and early detection campaigns. The ultimate goal is to achieve a 70% survival rate.
The association expressed its gratitude to the volunteers who managed the information tables throughout the city. They also noted that those who were unable to donate during the event can still contribute through their online platform.
