The Zumaia City Council has unanimously approved transferring the management of the Flyschenea service to the Gipuzkoanatura Foundation to integrate it into the Gipuzkoa Park Network (GPS).

The center, formerly known as Algorri Interpretazio Zentroa, is currently closed for renovations and updates to its museum project, funded by European Union grants.
The municipality will contribute 20,000 euros to join the network, while the foundation will allocate 130,000 euros for management. The building will remain municipal property, but its operations will be overseen by a four-member monitoring committee.
The council session also included a debate on a motion regarding the anniversary of the abolition of the fueros and the mayors' movement. The motion was supported by EH Bildu and EAJ, while the PSE-EE voted against it, citing the political nature of the proposal.
