Last weekend, the main teams of the Lagun Onak football club played away from home, collecting four out of six possible points, but returned with mixed feelings after reviewing the outcomes.

The men's team secured a bitter draw yesterday at noon in Añorga (Gipuzkoa), during the third-to-last matchday of the regular phase of the Spanish Third Division league. After leading 0-2, the match ultimately ended in a 2-2 tie. The Azpeitia team dominated the first half, scoring both their goals within the first half-hour. However, in the second half, the home team scored two goals, in the 53rd and 78th minutes, allowing the victory to slip away.
With this result, Lagun Onak holds onto fourth place with 53 points, occupying positions that grant access to the promotion play-offs. Nevertheless, their spot is not guaranteed, as six points remain to be played for, and seven teams still have a chance to reach the play-off positions. Next Sunday, at 6:00 PM, they will host Eibar C, a team fighting to avoid relegation, at Garmendipe.
On the other hand, the women's team achieved a beautiful victory on Saturday at Oiartzun's field, in the Gipuzkoa Regional Honor Division. Thanks to these three points, they have managed to equal the Oiartzun team in points, with 43, and have moved ahead in the standings, now in seventh place. Due to their dominance in the first half, they scored three goals, reaching halftime with a 0-3 lead. In the second half, the home team scored a goal, but Lagun Onak maintained good control of the match.
Next weekend, Lagun Onak's women will play at Garmendipe against Elgoibar, who currently sit in third place in the standings.
