The Donostia campus of the University of Deusto, in collaboration with the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, has launched the fourth edition of its Summer Campus, taking place from June 22 to 26. This initiative aims to help 3rd and 4th year ESO and 1st year Baccalaureate students reflect on their academic, personal, and professional future.

Registrations are now open for participants, who will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the most inspiring experiences behind different areas of knowledge and professions. As highlighted by Jon Ojanguren, head of the Summer Camp, “our goal is for the kids to enjoy a real first contact with the university world before taking the big leap. During an intense week in Donostia, they will not only share experiences with young people from other cities but also open their minds to new disciplines and professions through practical workshops. A definitive boost to guide their future and choose their career”.
Students will discover the importance of technology in all facets of our lives, delve into how companies operate, and explore the relevance of the environment, healthcare, sports, and law. All this will be accompanied by teachers and experts who will advise them on the studies that best suit their interests.
Additionally, there will be an optional program with afternoon activities such as surfing, beach volleyball, city tours, kayaking, and a funicular ride to Monte Igueldo. There is also a camp option with accommodation, accompaniment, and 24-hour supervision for five days a week. In this way, Deusto aims to attract young people from other regions to spend a few days in Donostia while discovering their vocation and enjoying the city's charms.
The Summer Campus offers two bilingual tracks: Basque-English and Spanish-English. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
