The Governing Council of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa has approved the 2026 call for the Enpresak Hobetzen subsidy program, endowed with 2.4 million euros, to boost management improvement in the territory's companies.

This program is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, seeking to strengthen their competitiveness through the implementation of advanced management methodologies and tools. The General Deputy, Eider Mendoza, explained that these aids are intended to prepare companies to face a highly competitive and uncertain market, which profoundly affects smaller businesses.

"The aids aim to boost competitiveness and their preparation to face a highly competitive and uncertain market that deeply affects smaller companies, which form a large part of Gipuzkoa's economic fabric and are more vulnerable."

The Enpresak Hobetzen program offers support in specific processes such as the organization and optimization of production processes, the definition of more effective commercial strategies, and the improvement of financial planning and control. Additionally, it promotes the incorporation of continuous improvement systems, production optimization to reduce costs and times, and the professionalization of economic-financial management, including profitability analysis and results monitoring.
The program is structured into three main lines of action: the improvement of production processes, the development and implementation of commercial strategies, and the strengthening of economic-financial management. Of the total allocation, one million euros will be dedicated to projects for improving production processes, while the commercial strategies and economic-financial management lines will each receive 700,000 euros.
Enpresak Hobetzen is part of the 2026 Aid and Subsidy Program of the Department of Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, which has a total budget of 32.2 million euros and a total of 39 support lines for the business fabric of Gipuzkoa. The program was first launched in 2025 and impacted 116 companies in Gipuzkoa.
