“"I regret that many of the localities governed by EH Bildu, in all three territories, are not requesting this service due to pure political prejudices. They are not thinking about the well-being of their citizens, but rather prioritizing their partisan interests and political prejudices regarding the National Police over the general interest. I encourage them to join this itinerant service, which is proving so beneficial for citizens, especially for those with greater mobility problems."

Only two of the municipalities managed by EH Bildu in Gipuzkoa have requested the integral vehicle service from the National Police for the renewal of DNI and passports, as reported by the delegate of the Spanish Government in Euskadi.
The National Police's Integral Documentation Vehicle (VIDOC) service has issued 6,881 DNI cards and 2,551 passports in 77 Basque localities during its first year of operation. In this period, it has provided over 260 itinerant services for document renewal.
The delegate of the Spanish Government in Euskadi, Marisol Garmendia, described the reception and operation of the service as "very positive," despite the "reluctance" shown by some town councils in requesting the vehicle's presence in their communities.
This reluctance has been particularly evident in Gipuzkoa, where EH Bildu governs in over 50 municipalities. Garmendia lamented that EH Bildu mayors "deprive their citizens of this service" offered by the National Police. In fact, she pointed out that only two of the municipalities managed by EH Bildu (Arrasate and Tolosa) have so far requested the VIDOC service.
In contrast, the delegate expressed her satisfaction that "numerous localities in Bizkaia, Álava, and Gipuzkoa have requested the deployment of the VIDOC, which, through appointments arranged via their respective town councils, have processed a significant 9,432 documents, including DNI cards and passports."
