The interior of Gipuzkoa remains under an orange alert this Tuesday due to extreme heat. According to Euskalmet, temperatures are already exceeding 35 degrees and could reach 38 degrees this afternoon.

Inland weather stations have recorded high values since early morning. Towns such as Beasain, Zaldibia, Ordizia, and Arrasate have surpassed the 35-degree mark, with Beasain reaching 36.7 degrees.
The situation on the coast is significantly different due to the influence of the sea breeze. In areas like Zarautz, Donostia, and Pasaia, temperatures have remained below 24 degrees, although they are expected to reach up to 32 degrees.
The orange alert will remain active until 8:00 PM. Heat will persist on Wednesday in the interior with highs of 33 degrees, while on the coast, westerly winds will moderate the temperature to around 28 degrees.
A more pronounced drop in temperatures is expected from Thursday onwards. Maximum temperatures will range between 26 and 28 degrees across the territory, with a trend towards cloudier skies and the possibility of light rain by Friday.
