The Bergara Town Hall will distribute wood obtained from municipal forest, park, and garden felling operations free of charge among residents.

For another year, the Bergara Town Hall has issued a call to distribute for free among citizens the wood obtained from the pruning and felling operations in municipal forests, woods, parks, and gardens. The application period is now open.
Eligible applicants include both natural persons registered in Bergara and legal entities without profit motive based in Bergara. Applications can be submitted through two main channels: at the General Registry of Bergara, located in the B@Z office at the town hall, or electronically via the Gipuzkoa Electronic Registry.
Once the deadline passes, a provisional list of accepted applicants will be published on the municipal website, followed by a period for submitting claims. Subsequently, the definitive list will be published, detailing the date, place, and time of the draw. This draw will be public and held at the town hall, first for natural persons and then for legal entities.
Successful applicants will be notified via email regarding their assigned lot and all necessary information. The council has reminded the public that the distributed wood cannot be used for any economic gain.
