Last weekend saw the Larra-Belagua Enduro Race, one of the key events in the Sustrails circuit. Amidst the spectacular scenery of the Navarrese Pyrenees and under very hot conditions, seventeen riders from the Arauntza Riders team participated in the race, delivering one of the most complete performances of the season.
The event was particularly special for the team as it marked the debut of their new kit prepared for this season. The launch couldn't have gone better, with the team achieving excellent results and their new colors gracing several podiums.
In the women's category, Naroa Aranbarri from Azpeitia emerged victorious. In the Elite category, Gorka Iriarte, also from Azpeitia, secured a notable third place. Among the youth, Danel Mugarza from Oñati (Gipuzkoa) was the best in the under-18 category.
In the E-bike category, Pello Lazkoz from Gasteiz claimed third place. Close to the podium were Markel Iriarte from Azpeitia, finishing fourth in Elite, and Asier Leon, also fourth in the E-bike category.
Beyond the podium finishes, the rest of the team's riders demonstrated excellent form, contending with the heat and the demanding Larra-Belagua course. These results underscore the strong momentum of the Arauntza Riders team, who continue with high motivation towards the season's upcoming events.
