Zuia inaugurates new sports facilities Palatu

The Zuia City Council inaugurates the new Palatu sports facilities today in Murgia, aiming to become a center for physical activity and community engagement.

The municipality of Zuia today unveils its new sports complex, the Palatu facilities, located in Murgia. Featuring courts protected by a large laminated wood structure, the complex is designed to be a focal point for physical activity and neighborhood gatherings.
The council invites all residents to the opening event to experience firsthand the layout and services of this modern space. The summer program offers activities for all ages, including aquatic sports, racket sports, postural gymnastics, and new disciplines such as a mini-triathlon for those born between 2010 and 2016.
Pre-registration closes on Monday the 22nd, with a draw for places held on Tuesday. From June 24th to 29th, those who do not secure a spot can sign up for available activities. Free places can be requested starting June 30th.
Full information is available on the municipal website, where registration can also be processed. The facilities will be open daily from 09:30 to 21:30 during the summer, with the swimming pool operating from 11:00 to 20:30.
Meanwhile, the neighboring municipality of Zigoitia opened its Bengolarra municipal pools this Friday. The City Council is implementing a digital system for managing sports and cultural services, requiring registration on the platform to obtain access passes.
