A truck overturned on the AP-68 near Zuia, Álava, in the early hours of the morning, causing substantial traffic congestion towards Vitoria due to lane closures.

The accident occurred shortly after three in the morning, necessitating the closure of two out of three lanes in the Zaragoza-Vitoria direction. This has resulted in traffic jams stretching between three and four kilometers, according to the Department of Security.
Furthermore, the Traffic Directorate has confirmed that one lane in the Bilbao direction also had to be closed. This measure was taken to facilitate cleanup operations and the removal of the cargo scattered across the road. Currently, no significant delays have been reported in this direction.
The truck driver sustained injuries and was transported to Txagorritxu Hospital in Vitoria. Emergency services and workers are still on site, working to remove the vehicle and restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.
