The construction of P3's new logistics platform in Zigoitia has concluded, adding to the significant logistics offering in the Álava territory. Currently, 70% of the facility's space is already leased, indicating an early success for the project.
“"The completion of P3 Zigoitia marks a key milestone and reaffirms our commitment to developing top-tier logistics assets in Spain. The rapid commercialization, with 70% of the space already leased before delivery, reflects the demand for Grade A facilities that combine efficiency, sustainability, and a strategic location like Zigoitia."
The P3 Zigoitia project is a modular platform of up to 43,027 square meters on a 70,290 m² plot, which will make it the second largest of its kind in Euskadi. Transnatur leased an 8,500 square meter module last February to develop logistics operations focused on steel product storage, serving a significant Basque business group. Additionally, another international operator will occupy a 20,200 square meter module.
As Javier Mérida emphasizes, the remaining 14,000 m² represent a unique opportunity for operators looking to enhance their operations in the northern Iberian Peninsula. Enrique Cuevas, Director of Industrial and Logistics in Bilbao for CBRE, highlighted that the commercialization of these facilities reflects the strength of the logistics market in the Basque Country and Vitoria's strategic role in the northern axis.
This platform boasts BREEAM Excellent certification, LED lighting throughout the premises, and a photovoltaic installation of up to 428 kW, ensuring high levels of energy efficiency, a significant reduction in carbon footprint, and lower operating costs. Furthermore, it is designed to adapt to High Fire Risk type 7, allowing for the safe storage of goods with high fire loads.
