Jesús Pablo Domínguez Varona, dressed as a militia member, alongside the Enkarterri Museum, led a tour through the terrain of Sopuerta. During the excursion, they explained the strategies used by the Republican side to try and halt the Francoist advance in 1937.
The event gathered approximately forty attendees, who had the chance to learn about and try on elements from the era, such as combat helmets.
Varona, in his period costume, provided detailed explanations about the findings. He displayed objects recovered from prospections, ranging from war material to coins from that time.
The route, which began at the Museo de las Encartaciones, included stops to listen to explanations from Janire Rojo along the historical sites.
