One person was injured this Saturday in a collision involving two cars on the AP-8 in Abadiño, leading to a one-kilometer traffic jam in the direction of Bilbao.

The incident took place at 4:15 PM on Saturday on the AP-8 in Abadiño, heading towards Bilbao. Two passenger vehicles collided, and one individual sustained injuries, subsequently being transported to Cruces Hospital.
Both vehicles involved in the accident occupied the central and left lanes of traffic in the Bilbao direction, causing significant congestion. By approximately 5:00 PM, the traffic queues extended for one kilometer.
Furthermore, the N-1 at Villabona, in the direction of Donostia, was closed from 2:30 PM due to an accident involving two trucks and a car, though no injuries were reported. The road has since been reopened. The heavy vehicles jackknifed across the roadway, necessitating the closure of traffic while assistance services worked to remove them.
