At Elizabarri parish in Garai, a concert organized by the City Council and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia turned music into an unforgettable experience, with an enthusiastic audience.

The Elizabarri parish in Garai became the setting for a unique musical experience. The concert was organized by the Garai City Council, with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, and was presented by a municipal representative.
Saxophonist Iñaki Bermúdez Sáez and pianist Yume Takasaki delivered a vibrant performance full of nuances. One of the most special moments was undoubtedly the world premiere of a work by Albert Guinovart: a cycle of four fantasies on Greek songs, specially created for this duo and heard for the first time in Garai.
The program took attendees on a diverse musical journey, featuring works by Miquel de Jorge Artels and Jesús Guridi. There was also a moving tribute to traditional Basque music, with pieces such as Txoria txori and Xalbadorren heriotzean.
The audience, completely engrossed, could barely contain their applause, which eventually erupted between short pauses. As if the magic enveloped everything around the temple, even a nearby donkey joined in with its braying during one of those silences filled with music.
