The Maristak Durango center has celebrated over 140 Vocational Training students for their achievements. With more than a century of experience, the institution fosters a dual model focused on teamwork and skill development, actively building networks with local companies and universities. This academic year, 303 students completed internships at 200 businesses.
The educational approach is built on three core principles: teamwork, and the promotion of competencies and abilities. Awards were presented to students in mechanical manufacturing, electricity and electronics, administration and finance, and IT, covering basic education, intermediate and higher cycles, and specialization programs.
“"Vocational training is synonymous with planning, specialization, and adaptation; it is a strategic infrastructure for a country and its talent."
Néstor Eriz, Director of Training at CEBEK, emphasized the historical significance of the Marist contribution and how modern industry values teamwork and purposeful information. He highlighted Vocational Training as a cornerstone for planning, specialization, and adaptation, crucial for national talent strategy.
Two students received special recognition: Liam Diallo, who dreams of becoming a pilot and interned at Ormazabal, will pursue a master's degree in intelligent applications at Maristak. Javier Celaya, after completing advanced studies in mechanical manufacturing design, will specialize in Arrasate, aiming for a career in design or quality assurance.
The center's director, Daniel Irazola, stated that Maristak has become a benchmark, noting that 50% of the region's GDP originates from industry. The institution remains aligned with emerging educational trends like intelligent manufacturing, in close collaboration with businesses in the Duranguesado area.
Finally, students Mikel García and Fergus Robinso, who specialized in cybersecurity, proudly accepted their diplomas after securing positions with a company in Mondragón, expressing gratitude for their professors' guidance.
