The municipality of Mañaria has taken a decisive step in modernizing its rural infrastructures by launching an ambitious public lighting renovation plan. This intervention, which has already begun in the Arrueta and Urkuleta neighborhoods, is part of the Town Council's general strategy to transform the local lighting network under criteria of efficiency and environmental respect.
To date, the work has involved replacing eight strategic light points. By incorporating solar systems, the municipality expects to optimize lighting quality and drastically reduce electricity consumption. To implement this improvement, the council has made an investment of 7,758 euros, a fund allocated to updating equipment essential for daily life in the neighborhoods.

The initiative, however, will not stop in these two sectors; the municipal roadmap includes extending these renovations to the rest of the neighborhoods, consolidating an efficient and sustainable lighting system throughout the entire municipal area.
