Leitza's festivals are in full swing. This Thursday, the giant and cabezudo troupe from Llinars del Vallès, Catalonia, has been invited to participate in a parade and candy distribution.

The lively festival continues in Leitza. This Thursday, after the morning's reveille and bull run, the giant and cabezudo troupe from Leitza will parade through the town starting at 10:30 AM. This year, they will host a special guest: the troupe from Llinars del Vallès (Catalonia), which will join the procession for the children's delight. Afterwards, around 11:30 AM, candies will be distributed.
At 1:00 PM, there will be a txakoli tasting and a performance by the band Incansables in the karrape. In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, bulls will be released into the plaza. Following this, at 6:30 PM, a bertsolari (Basque improvisational poetry) session has been announced in the plaza, featuring Maialen Lujanbio, Amets Arzallus, Ekhiñe Zapiain, Joanes Illarregi, and Xabat Illarregi.
In the evening, at 9:30 PM, there will be a fire bull event, and at 10:00 PM, the popular town dinner will commence. From midnight onwards, the Incansables band will perform their nightly round.
Wednesday's festival program also featured numerous events. In the morning, there was a pelota (Basque handball) festival at the Amazabal fronton, and in the labadero, members of the cultural group organized a special area for children to cope with the heat. For the adults, a paella lunch was held in the karrape, enlivened by the Incansables band.
In the afternoon, bulls were released into the plaza, and the dance group Aurrera presented a performance. Afterwards, candies were distributed, and a bertso poteo (a tour of bars with bertsolaris) took place. The music and festive atmosphere didn't end there, as the members of the Incansables band took to the streets to get everyone dancing. The children's festivities also continued in the plaza, with cabezudos parading through the streets, and those with energy participated in the fire bull event.
As part of the San Tiburtzio festival program, there was also a special concert in the plaza, featuring the group Maruxak. Following this, San Fifi and Fefa Dj performed at the plaza's txosna (booth). Towards dawn, an open circle dance was announced in the plaza for anyone who wished to join.
