The Autumn Stock Fair is underway in Azpeitia, organized by the Bertan merchants' association. Today, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and tomorrow morning (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and afternoon (4:00 PM to 8:00 PM), 37 shops will be offering out-of-season products at lower-than-usual prices. Citizens have shown interest in taking advantage of this opportunity, and several shoppers have already been seen with bags at the establishments.
Nine of these shops have set up their stalls in the Azoka Plaza, while the rest are located at the entrances of their own stores. The fair also features various complementary activities. Today, with the first purchases, vouchers for pintxos at the Sanagustin and Pastorkua bars will be distributed.
Tomorrow, more events are scheduled. In the morning, starting at 12:00 PM, trikitilaris will liven up the streets. Simultaneously, in the main square, the Kids&Us academy will present an English theater performance for children aged 3 to 10. In the afternoon, children's workshops will take place in Balentina Agirre square from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The local producers' markets will also continue as usual on Fridays and Saturdays. However, alongside the merchants' stalls, the producers' stands will be located in the main square, not in the Azoka Plaza. Additionally, tomorrow, the Egurnika project will have an exhibition stand in the square all day, and the Kriston Burrundaie music festival will fill the streets with local tunes starting Saturday midday.
