Elorrio has opened the period for residents to submit proposals for the 2027 Participatory Budgets. This initiative will allow for the decision-making on the allocation of a 50,000 euro fund. Ideas can be submitted until July 6th and will be used to incorporate the community's priorities into the planning of future municipal actions.
In this initial phase, all individuals over 16 years of age are eligible to participate, regardless of whether they are registered residents. Furthermore, there is no limit to the number of initiatives each person can submit. These proposals must be related to municipal responsibilities, serve the general interest, adhere to principles of equality and non-discrimination, and fit within the maximum budget.
To facilitate participation, various submission channels have been established. Proposals can be registered online and via mailboxes located at the City Hall and at Iturri Kultur Etxea. Additionally, information points will be set up to address queries and bring the process closer to the public. These points will be available on June 26th and July 3rd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in the Consistory area, and on July 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in Esteibarlanda and around Ibarra street.
