The team from Orio achieved a brilliant triumph, dominating the race held in a time trial format. They set a strong pace from the start and, thanks to the consistency shown throughout the competition, crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 12:49.64. Getxo finished second with 12:58.83, while Mundaka took third place with 13:04.59.
Thanks to this result, Badok 13 leads the league's overall standings with a total of 59 points. Their closest rival is Getxo with 55 points, and Zumaia is in third place with 46.
Furthermore, the second veteran boat also performed well this weekend. Competing in the second division, they finished the regatta in fifth place, "reaffirming the team's good progress and leaving positive sensations for the future".
This weekend, both teams will face new challenges. The first boat will compete for the Pontejos Flag in Cantabria, while the second will race for the Castro Flag. Both regattas will take place around the San Salvador River.
