The Durango City Council has welcomed the Tabirako Baqué basketball club in an event to acknowledge the effort, dedication, and commitment of all its members.

The Durango City Council welcomed the Tabirako Baqué basketball club today to publicly recognize the effort, dedication, and commitment of everyone involved. The reception highlighted not only the club's sporting successes but also the values associated with teamwork and perseverance on and off the court.
Special congratulations were extended to the women's senior teams, who after an outstanding season, have won the 'Final Four' and achieved promotion. The men's national team was also recognized for its historic double victory in the League and Cup, as well as the career of its most outstanding player.
Beyond titles and trophies, the Council emphasized its pride in having local homegrown athletes who have represented the best of Durango and served as an example and inspiration for younger generations aspiring to follow in their footsteps. Gratitude and admiration were also expressed for the team's role in making the entire city proud and keeping the passion for sports alive in Durango.
