The well-known game Egunean Behin will commence its 22nd season next Monday, September 14th. The new season will run until December 13th and will be sponsored by EITB, as in previous years. Consequently, the ETB ON platform will be promoted weekly through the game. The sponsorship for the first week has been allocated to EITB's program Gaupasa.
This season, a new system will be implemented to broaden the opportunities for winners. Although the rankings will remain the same, players who have already won a prize in any week played since 2024 (including this 22nd season) will not be eligible to win again. The prize will be awarded to the next eligible player who has not yet won.
Regarding the season's overall winner, those who have achieved victory since 2022 will also be exempt. The top position in the general ranking will receive a prize, and additionally, 3 prizes provided by EITB will be raffled. While previous seasons counted the best four weeks, this time the sum of seven weeks will be considered for each player's ranking.
In addition to EITB as the main sponsor, various other entities will also support the weekly activities. These include the cooperative group ULMA, Ikusgela (a project for audiovisual materials for Wikipedia), the game Gurot (an app and competition for schools in Bizkaia), Fagor Industrial - Onnera, the application EMF Mendiak from the Basque Mountaineering Federation, the movement Gure Esku, and the Basque Museum in Bilbao, which has recently reopened after renovation.
Furthermore, two Basque-language media outlets, each celebrating their quarter-century milestone this season, will be featured. Those wishing to install the game can download it now.
