Durango to host Kirol Eguna, gathering 21 sports clubs and associations this weekend

Durango Kirol Eguna will bring together 21 sports clubs, associations, and entities at Landako Gunea on June 13th and 14th to showcase sports diversity.

Durango will be the main venue for the upcoming Durangoko Kirol Eguna, taking place on June 13th and 14th. This second edition aims to highlight the municipality's extensive sports offerings and provide citizens with the chance to experience various disciplines firsthand. The event will be held at Landako Gunea, where numerous clubs and associations will present their activities and offer participation opportunities.
On Saturday, June 13th, activities will run in the morning (10:00-14:00) and afternoon (16:00-20:00). Throughout the day, participating entities will showcase disciplines such as football, rugby, handball, swimming, cycling, mountaineering, triathlon, padel, volleyball, chess, Basque pelota, archery, and martial arts. Additionally, there will be calisthenics sessions organized by 'Street Workout Together', tailored for different age groups.
On Sunday, June 14th, activities will take place from 10:00 to 14:00. Clubs representing chess, rugby, handball, swimming, triathlon, and martial arts, among others, will be present. A highlight will be an open Zumbathon, combining music and physical exercise. In total, 21 sports clubs, associations, and entities will gather to demonstrate the strength and diversity of Durango's sports scene.
