Following last year's success, bicycle races have once again been organized in the Sanjuandegi neighborhood ahead of the festivities. The YK Riders club and the XJ Auzolanean commission have collaborated to launch the event, which has seen the participation of numerous children aged between 3 and 12.
The races were conducted in age-based categories, starting around 4:30 PM. Initially, children aged 3 and 4 cycled around a circuit set up near Jose Antonio Agirre square. Those over 5 years old completed a route through the neighborhood on their bikes, while participants aged 7 and above completed several laps of the circuit prepared in Sanjuandegi.
The young cyclists thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, coinciding with Children's Day yesterday and the upcoming festivities. Although races were held, no official rankings were compiled; the event was primarily a friendly gathering. All participants received sweets, and a bicycle and helmet were raffled among everyone present.
