The Bikamiota neighborhood will celebrate its festival day this year, with the event scheduled for August 29. As previously announced, the drum parade will be one of the main attractions. Now, the full program has been released, featuring a variety of activities for people of all ages.
The program includes several events: in the morning, the festival's opening with an homage to the organizers from the past, children's water games, and a potato tortilla competition with tasting. At midday, a barbecue will be served with ribs and chorizo, accompanied by cider.
In the afternoon, there will be a drum parade with a brass band and giants and big-heads. Afterwards, a sardine barbecue will be held, and the winners of the raffle and the 'guess the size of a txikito' challenge will be announced. The evening will feature Aros DJ, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Those wishing to participate in the drum parade will have rehearsals on August 25 and 27, open to all residents over 8 years old. The registration period will be open until August 9, and interested individuals should go to the Aurrera bar.
