The 'Ertzetako ahotsak oholtzara' event, organized by the Town Council of Azpeitia, Emakumeen Txokoa, the Astindu Armayuek collective, and the Eihera cooperative, will take place on June 12 at the Sanagustin cultural center.

Originally scheduled for May 15, the event had to be postponed due to a sound technicians' strike. It will commence at 6:00 PM and aims to highlight the memories and experiences of LGTBIQ+ individuals.
The event will have two main parts: first, a screening of the short documentary Ertzetako ahotsak oholtzara, produced by the Eihera cooperative. This will be followed by a reception and performances by students from the Emakumeen Txokoa DJ workshop, as well as a set by DJ Siwanaba.
The documentary captures the experiences, memories, and lives of LGTBIQ+ individuals in Azpeitia, centering their voices and contributing to the construction of collective memory. It is intended for use as a sensitization tool, particularly in the town's educational institutions.
This documentary is the culmination of a process that began two years ago. The Eihera cooperative, initiated by the Azpeitia Town Council, conducted a diagnosis of local LGTBIQ+ realities, emphasizing the need to work on memory and reparation.
The schedule is as follows: 6:00 PM documentary screening, followed by an outdoor reception, 7:00 PM performance by DJ workshop students, and 8:00 PM DJ Siwanaba's set.
