Additionally, the Council reminds the public about the ongoing Auzotaxi service, a municipal initiative designed to improve mobility for residents in the outlying neighborhoods and facilitate their travel to the town center. The service is available every day of the year, from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day, and the maximum number of trips per user has been increased to 310 trips annually.
Auzotaxi service trips are purchased through vouchers obtained directly at the City Hall. Each voucher includes 10 trips, and the Council provides a subsidy to reduce the cost for beneficiaries, also considering citizen input and the ZUOK program.
In this way, the Amorebieta-Etxano City Council reaffirms its commitment to offering more accessible mobility options tailored to the needs of its citizens.
