The celebrations will kick off on April 27 with the gathering of cuadrillas at the Traña bridge to bring the Donien Atxa, followed by a dance performance by the Iluntze group and the award ceremony for the year's distinguished citizen. A parade with the Joselontxos fanfare will also take place on this day.
On April 28, Traña square will host family shows: Tavole (Zirko Txosko) and Lurrazpitik (Antxo ta Pantxa). In case of rain, activities will be moved to the fronton. On April 30, a Txiki merienda and Disko-dantza will be held in the market square, and in the evening, the Txupinazoa, a concert by the group Hamabi Harri, and charity bingos will take place in Traña square.
The money raised from the charity bingo will be donated to the Atxondo Harrera Herriaren association.
May 1 will be Costume Day, with the theme of world mythologies. A parade with the Ad Libitum fanfare, a communal meal at the fronton, and games between cuadrillas have been organized. In the evening, Traña square will feature concerts by Ainke, Impuesto Revolucionario (a tribute to Eskorbuto), and Josetxu Piperrak.
In the final days of the festivities, on May 8, the final of the San Prudencio hand-pelota championship and a bertso session will be held at Errota Kultur Etxea, featuring bertsolaris Igor Elortza, Onintza Enbeita, Eneko Abasolo “Abarkas”, and Irune Basagoiti. May 9 will mark Youth Day, organized by the Traña-Matiena Youth Assembly, with a meal and concerts. The festivities will conclude on May 10 with rural sports, a meal for seniors, and the lowering of the Donien Atxa.
The fairground rides will be located in the Arzubia car park from April 24 to May 10, with a quiet period from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily. Additionally, on May 2 and 9, there will be a special night train service and a free bus service to ensure citizens can attend the festivities safely.
