The Elorrio City Council has launched the Public Exhibition phase for the Advance of its General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU), seeking contributions from the public. This preliminary document outlines a potential municipal model, and the participatory process will be open from September 30 to November 30.
The Advance document presents various alternatives and specific proposals for different areas within the municipality. Citizen participation is considered crucial for refining the document and fostering a collective reflection on the future municipal model.
To facilitate engagement, a range of activities have been organized, combining in-person and digital formats: a public talk (September 30, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Iturri Kultur Etxea), participatory workshops (October 7, 21, and 28, Iturri Kultur Etxea), a digital questionnaire (September 30 - November 30, available at hapo-elorrio.eus), the public exhibition (September 30 - November 30, at the Tourist Office), and assistance at the PGOU Office (by prior appointment).
The PGOU revision is a lengthy process, and citizen input, particularly during the diagnostic and advance phases, is highly valued. The community is encouraged to participate in the organized events to ensure the new PGOU effectively addresses the needs of its residents.
