The municipality has prepared a full-day program focused on music, dance, singing, and a festive atmosphere, bringing together citizens and cultural groups.
The day will begin at 11:00 AM with the 'diana', featuring giants, pipers, txistularis, and Zanpantzar parading through the streets. Afterwards, at 11:45 AM, the Town Square will host txalaparta, bertsolaritza, and a welcoming ceremony.
At 12:00 PM, schools will showcase their connection to Basque culture through the initiative Ikastetxeak dantzan eta kantuz (Schools Dancing and Singing), and at 12:45 PM, citizens will have the opportunity to participate in the event Herria kantu eta dantzan (The Town Singing and Dancing).
Throughout the midday, there will be music, singing, and dance performances in Andramari Square, Zezilia Gallartzagoitia Street, Abasolo Apezpiku Street, Gernika Square, Arraibi Square, and Kalbario Square.
In the afternoon, the festivities will move to Zelaieta Park. At 3:00 PM, a popular lunch will be held, followed by children's games at 4:30 PM. At 5:00 PM, DJ Jonkas will liven up the afternoon with a musical bingo.
The festival will continue at 6:45 PM with a parade by the fanfarria Gaztedi Barria and at 7:30 PM with a performance by the group Kittu, on Luis Urrengoetxea Street. To conclude the day, at 10:00 PM, there will be a 'romeria' (traditional Basque festival dance) by the group Zutik in Zelaieta Park.
The Zornotza Euskal Jaiak will once again combine the transmission of Basque culture, the participation of local groups, and a festive atmosphere, filling Amorebieta-Etxano with music and tradition.
