Usurbil City Council has launched several grant lines to boost citizen initiatives and sports activities. Until September 30, the option will be open to launch new activities in vacant commercial premises, as well as to apply for a one-year stay in the Kabiene Co-working Space to develop projects. The first resolution will be published on May 30, and the second, with applications submitted by September 30.
In addition, until November 13, the deadline will be open to apply for sports grants, provided they are not of a competitive nature. Finally, applications for the call for social exclusion aid can be submitted throughout the year, aimed at "individuals or families without economic resources and who cannot receive other aid," with the objective of meeting basic needs.
The Usurbil Zabalik grant bases have two main lines: aid to cover the initial expenses of business initiatives and aid for rent or purchase costs to open a new activity in vacant commercial premises. Beneficiaries can be entrepreneurs registered in Usurbil or other municipalities, and priority will be given to projects related to services not currently offered to citizens in the urban center or neighborhoods, as well as those that are continuations of activities that are about to close or have recently closed. Key conditions include developing the activity in a vacant premises in Usurbil and ensuring the project's economic viability.
The Hasiz Hazi call, in turn, offers support to entrepreneurs to develop projects in the Kabiene Co-working Space. Those registered in the Beterri-Buruntza region will have priority, and those developing a new business project will be able to benefit from, among other things, a workspace, the opportunity to share resources, and advice from the regional self-employment service. The maximum grant amount can be €4,500, and applications can be submitted until September 30.
The social exclusion calls cover primary needs (housing, maintenance, health, hygiene) for those who cannot receive aid through other administrations. Finally, the deadline to apply for sports grants will be open until November 13, to finance technical training for teams, health check-ups, and extracurricular activities.
Applications can be submitted in person at the municipal registry or electronically through the usurbil.eus portal. More information can be consulted in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa and on the council's website.
