The Plaza San Juan in Urnieta will host the semifinals of the 'Rural Kutxa' aizkora championship this Sunday, starting at 12:30 PM. This event, focused on promoting aizkora among women and youth, has reached its decisive phase in its inaugural edition.

In the women's category, four pairs will compete in Urnieta: Nerea Arruti and Malen Barrenetxea; Irati Astondoa and Ainize Pérez; Oihana Fernández de Barrena and Ekiñe López; and Uxue Ansorregi and Maika Ariztegi. Among them, the participation of local athlete Nerea Arruti is particularly noteworthy, as she has been excelling in this discipline for some time.

Furthermore, in the competition named 'Izar Berriak', three pairs will participate: Ioan Goikoetxea and Jon Erdozia; Jon Zaldua and Joanes Izagirre 'Ipiña II'; and Igoin Pikabea and Mikel Santesteban.

Additionally, the event will feature a special exhibition of stone lifting with Beñat Telleria and Malen Morandeira.
