In anticipation of the La Concha Regatta, to be held in the bay of Donostia, Lurraldebus will reinforce its bus services during the first two Sundays of September, the 6th and 13th. These special services will affect several lines in the Oarso-Bidasoa region.
Specifically, lines E01 (Donibane – Lezo – Errenteria-Orereta – Antxo – Donostia), E02 (Oiartzun – Errenteria-Orereta – Pasaia – Donostia N-1), E05 (Errenteria-Orereta – Beraun – Morrongilleta – Antxo – Donostia), E09 (San Pedro – Donostia), E21 (Hondarribia – Donostia), and E27 (Hondarribia – Irun – Errenteria-Orereta – Antxo – Donostia) will have reinforcements at the beginning and end of the regattas, in addition to their regular services.
Azahara Dominguez, deputy for the Department of Mobility, Tourism, and Spatial Planning, stated that these measures will allow people to enjoy the regatta in a sustainable, accessible, and comfortable manner. "Committing to quality public transport not only enables progress towards more sustainable mobility but also contributes to improving citizens' quality of life, ensuring their safety, and democratizing access to various aspects of life, including leisure, by guaranteeing equal opportunities for all individuals," she added.
