The Salestarrak Magale school in Urnieta celebrated the end of the academic year with 'Graduazio Festa' and 'Familien Festa' events, gathering hundreds of students, families, and teachers in a festive and familiar atmosphere.

The Salestarrak Magale school in Urnieta has celebrated the end of the academic year with its traditional events, the 'Graduazio Festa' and the 'Familien Festa'. These events brought together hundreds of people from surrounding towns such as Urnieta, Hernani, Andoain, Astigarraga, and Donostia, in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.
According to Asier Irazusta, a teacher at the center, "it is a very special date for both families and Salesians, as it means celebrating the academic achievements together. It marks the end of an important stage in the students' lives and is usually characterized by joy, emotion, and shared pride."
The program began at seven in the evening with the 'Graduazio Festa', held in the school's auditorium. During the ceremony, second-year Baccalaureate students and those from Vocational Training cycles who had completed their studies received their diplomas, certifying the completion of this educational stage. Irazusta highlights that "these are very emotional moments, as each group is called to the stage amidst applause while festive and solemn music plays. Afterwards, the teaching staff presents the diplomas, photographs are taken, and a video of the day's best moments is recorded. Additionally, there are always surprises that make the event even more special."
Once the academic ceremony concluded, attendees moved to the school's courtyard to continue the celebration. There, an area was prepared with numerous tables and appetizers. "It's the ideal moment to chat calmly, exchange impressions among families, students, and teachers, and enjoy a much more relaxed atmosphere after the ceremony's nerves. It is very gratifying for us to see the satisfaction and happiness that permeates everyone present," comments the teacher.
An hour later, the traditional 'Familien Festa' began, an activity open to students, their families, and former students. The courtyard once again became the meeting point for the educational community, with many tables set up to enjoy a barbecue organized by the Parents' Association. "A sardine feast is offered accompanied by pork loin, txistorra, and tortilla, as well as various desserts and some additional surprises. It is very nice to see how families actively collaborate in the organization with teachers and staff. It is something that both students and parents greatly value," states Irazusta.
The day concluded with a very positive assessment from the organization, which highlighted the excellent atmosphere experienced during both celebrations and the high participation registered.
