A motorcyclist was injured in an accident near the Gomistegi roundabout, at kilometer 8 of the GI-20. Medical services transported the individual to Donostia Hospital.
Following the incident, several Ertzaintza traffic units were dispatched to the scene, which remains closed. Two ambulances also attended to transfer the injured person to Donostia Hospital.
Traffic diversions have been implemented to facilitate circulation in the area until the operations conclude, as reported by the Basque Department of Security.
Another collision occurred on the GI-20 near Errenteria, involving two cars. This incident forced Ertzaintza traffic officers to divert traffic towards Riberas de Loiola, as the road is currently blocked.
Authorities are working in the area to clear the accident site and restore normal traffic flow.
