The Usurbil K.E. male cadet team will face the decisive promotion phase to the Basque League this weekend at the Oiardo sports center, having secured third place in the Euskadi championship.

As the season draws to a close, several Usurbil K.E. teams will be involved in important phases. The male cadets, in particular, will have the opportunity to be promoted to the Basque League, following their third-place finish in the Euskadi championship and their ranking among the top 24 teams in the State.
The team will play the phase to compete in the Basque League in the upcoming 2026-27 season, at home, in the Oiardo sports center, from May 8 to 10. Their rivals in these three matches will be Corazonistas, Muskiz, and Tolosa.
Furthermore, as announced by the handball teams' meeting point, the male cadet handball team will also participate in the Spanish championship. Eight sectors of this championship will be played from May 14 to 17, one of them in the Navarrese capital, Pamplona, from May 15 to 17. There, the Usurbil K.E. team will compete against Navarra's Anaitasuna A, Valencia's Monsolar Maristas Algemesi, and Catalonia's Barça.
That same weekend, the Usurbil K.E. male junior team will also play the Basque League phase in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Additionally, the usual handball and football matches will take place at the Oiardo sports center and in Harana throughout the weekend.
