The Gipuzkoa Handball Federation has organized special technical training sessions for clubs in the territory, following their recent victory in the Queen's Cup, with the aim of promoting player development and improvement.

These sessions arise from bringing the Queen's Cup home and are aimed at different clubs in Gipuzkoa. The goal is for young players to work on technical-tactical aspects they don't usually encounter in their daily routines, from a different perspective.
During these technical training sessions, a special 1x1 focus will be implemented, both in attack and defense. This will allow participants to simplify this specific game situation and learn how to work on and improve this particular action.

"It is always interesting for young players to participate in these types of sessions, especially when they are organized close to home. These opportunities rarely arise."

A Federation representative
Many girls from Usurbil Kirol Elkartea have shown interest in participating in these sessions, and the federation emphasizes that it is an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into handball and learn technical-tactical details beyond their daily routine.
In addition to this session, several other activities are underway related to the Cup. All Gipuzkoa clubs have been invited to participate, working on various topics and areas with different professional players. The federation believes these initiatives provide a boost to the learning and teaching process.
Regarding Usurbil handball, the federation has always considered it a benchmark, as despite being a small town, it has shown a fighting spirit to advance its teams. Furthermore, Usurbil's first men's team has maintained its category in the 1st National League, which is not easy in that division.
It has been highlighted that handball is a humble, fast, and lively team sport. It offers a beautiful world for meeting people, learning, and maintaining local identity. Children and young people are encouraged to try this sport, especially in Usurbil, where it is an excellent opportunity to be with friends.
