Gipuzkoa Provincial Council Holds Meeting in Lasarte-Oria
The Provincial Government Council held its weekly meeting at the Lasarte-Oria town hall to address the municipality's challenges and projects.

The Governing Council of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa convened this Tuesday in Lasarte-Oria to gain firsthand knowledge of the municipality's challenges and projects, fostering closer collaboration with its citizens.
As part of the itinerant sessions being held during this legislative term, the Governing Council of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa held its weekly meeting in Lasarte-Oria. The aim is to directly understand the needs, challenges, and projects of the territory's municipalities, strengthen cooperation, and bring institutional activities closer to the public.
The provincial deputies, along with the general deputy, held their meeting at the Lasarte-Oria town hall, where they made various decisions affecting the entire territory. Prior to the Council meeting, the general deputy and the mayor of the municipality held a working session to learn about the main challenges and ongoing projects in the town.

"The objective of this initiative is to understand the projects and strategies of the territory and the municipality, as well as to gather the concerns and contributions of the citizens. We are working openly across all of Gipuzkoa, holding meetings with the largest possible number of municipalities, neighborhoods, businesses, and stakeholders."
The general deputy stated that this meeting allows for progress in collaboration with the town hall and a deeper engagement with shared projects. Furthermore, she committed to continuing to work collaboratively and with a vocation for innovation in public policies, supporting initiatives that contribute to the comprehensive well-being of individuals.

For his part, the mayor of the municipality expressed that it is an honor and an opportunity for Lasarte-Oria to host the Governing Council of the Provincial Council.
