Several mayors from Gipuzkoa are set to depart for Seville on Friday to attend Real Sociedad's Cup final, on a flight arranged by the club itself, though some Debagoiena officials have voiced dissatisfaction with the Provincial Council.

Mayors from Gipuzkoa will travel to Seville on Friday afternoon from Noain Airport (Navarre) on a special flight organized by Real Sociedad. The purpose is to watch the Cup final live at the Cartuja football stadium. On Saturday, they will immerse themselves in the txuri-urdin atmosphere, and on Sunday, at 12:00 PM, they will take the return flight.
However, some have different plans. Izaro Elorza Arregi, the mayor of Oñati, for example, will travel to Seville with her family. She will watch the match at Cartuja alongside the other mayors, but will spend the rest of the weekend with her family, as she had planned the trip this way from the beginning.

"The Provincial Council initially announced that it would install them in three municipalities –Tolosa, Zarautz, and Zumarraga–. And, apparently, it will now also help the town councils that have called the Provincial Council to install screens; in total, there will be eleven towns, but none from Debagoiena. They have not officially announced anywhere that they would help, and, once again, the towns of Debagoiena have been left out."

Furthermore, Olatz Lezeta, the mayor of Antzuola, on behalf of the mayors of Debagoiena, has expressed her anger because the Provincial Council will not install screens in the region. Lezeta criticized that the Provincial Council initially announced the installation of screens in three municipalities (Tolosa, Zarautz, and Zumarraga) and is now helping the town councils that have called, but she denounced that the towns of Debagoiena have been excluded.
