Gorka Madinabeitia wins Hiru Txirlo championship, Jokin Arrizabalaga takes final round

In the final round of the Hiru Txirlo championship held in Floreaga, Jokin Arrizabalaga emerged victorious, while Gorka Madinabeitia secured the overall championship.

In the tenth and final round of the Hiru Txirlo championship, held in Floreaga, Jokin Arrizabalaga was the winner with 7 txirlos, matching Jabier Osoro. In the overall standings, Gorka Madinabeitia was the champion.

Fifty-eight players gathered at the Floreaga bowling alley on May 30th for the tenth and final round of the Hiru Txirlo championship. Jokin Arrizabalaga (Lastur) and Jabier Osoro (San Migel) were the top performers, each knocking down 7 txirlos. Arkaitz Rodriguez (Asola Berri) came in third with 6 txirlos.
The overall championship was won by Gorka Madinabeitia, who accumulated 36 txirlos in the general standings. Jabier Martino (Soraluze), who had been closing in during the final rounds, finished second with 33 txirlos, followed by Garikoitz Rodriguez with 32.
In the women's category, Enara Montiel showed dominance, winning with 22 txirlos. Isana Gorosabel (UDA) came in second with 16. In the veterans' category, Bittor Astigarraga was the winner (30 txirlos), with Jabier Osoro in second place (26 txirlos). In the younger categories, Ander Unamuno (infantile, 11 txirlos), Luken Martino (alevin, 13 txirlos), and Axel Sixto (UDA, benjamin, 14 txirlos) were the top performers.
By teams, Asola Berri secured the championship with 115 txirlos, ahead of San Joxepe (113 txirlos) and Elgeta (109 txirlos). In pairs, Bittor Astigarraga and Bittor Ugarteburu were the strongest (55 txirlos), with Asier Azkarate and Mikel Almorza (San Joxepe) taking second place (53 txirlos).
Awards were also given for the best players from each town: Gorka Madinabeitia (Aretxabaleta), Gorka Bereziartua (Elgeta), Mikel Almorza (Bergara), Jabi Martino (Soraluze), Xabier Loiola (Elgoibar), Erik Muñoz (Floreaga), and Gotzon Uranga (Lastur) were recognized as the best in their respective municipalities.
Following the championship, the Lehendakari Saria will be contested next Saturday, June 6th, at the Asola Berri bowling alley in Eibar, starting at 12:00 PM. Afterwards, a celebratory lunch will be held to honor Bittor Astigarraga, Bitor Ugarteburu, and Jose Angel Astigarraga. Finally, the awards for the Gipuzkoa championship will be presented.
