A 23-year-old person in a street situation was found dead on Bergara street in San Sebastián this Wednesday. Four people have died in this situation in the city since November.

A 23-year-old person in a street situation has died this Wednesday in San Sebastián, as confirmed by the city council. Municipal sources indicate that the body was found lifeless on Bergara street, in the Centro area, between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, around 04:00 AM. The Ertzaintza (Basque Police) is investigating the incident.
It is important to recall that at least four people in street situations have died in San Sebastián since last November. Two passed away between November and December, and another in February. According to the latest counts, approximately 500 people are currently in a street situation in the city.
City council sources explained that the person who died on Bergara street was identified and their situation was known.
