The primary goal is to foster women's empowerment, participation, networking, and well-being through a variety of free activities. This autumn's program includes workshops, year-round initiatives, and two performances, offering opportunities to explore diverse areas of interest for women.
Among the workshops, notable offerings include: "Women in Motion", "Course to Strengthen the Pelvic Floor", "Transformative Sewing", "Mothers in the Tribe", "Aromatherapy", "Survival DIY", "Radio Workshop", "What If We Laugh?", "Community Soap", "Chi Kung", "Weaving Voices", "How to Speak in Public", "Women, Percussion, and Art in Public Space", and "My Body's Map: Somatic Cartographies, Beyond the Mirror".
Additionally, two initiatives will run throughout the year: an introductory sports group for migrant women to familiarize them with sports offerings, and the "Gure artean euskaraz!" (In Basque Among Us!) project, aimed at promoting the use of Basque among women.
The program also features two performances at the Seminario hall. On November 17th, at 8:00 PM, "Not Only Blows Are Painful" will be presented, followed by the show "The Dance of Care" on November 21st, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
All activities are free of charge, but participation in workshops requires prior registration. The registration period is open from September 17th to October 4th. Bergara City Council emphasizes that these schools serve as vital meeting points for learning and empowerment, strengthening women's personal and collective autonomy.
