The organizers have called for the collection of all types of materials. These include medical supplies (medications expiring after June 2027, surgical instruments, gloves, and condoms), nutritional supplements (vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and probiotics), and non-perishable foods (canned goods, grains, pasta, powdered milk, nuts, and oil), with the latter having an expiration date after January 2027.
Additionally, hygiene materials (pads, tampons, wipes, and diapers), sports equipment (balls, rackets, and bicycles), and school supplies (pencils, pens, paints, and notebooks, excluding textbooks and encyclopedias) will also be collected. Cleaning materials such as brooms, mops, and bottle cleaners are also welcome.
The Socialist Council has indicated that financial contributions for photovoltaic panels can also be made, either in cash at the collection points or via bank transfer.
In addition to Saturday's collections, the IAS organization has been gathering materials in various schools in Debagoiena since the previous week, including Gaztelupe and Arrasate BHI in Arrasate, and Ipintza in Bergara, as well as Elkar Hezi and Txantxiku Ikastola in Oñati.
