Eskoriatza's cultural agenda is packed this Friday with three major events: a musical based on Mecano's songs, an interactive children's play, and a rock concert.

This Friday, April 15, 2026, Eskoriatza will offer a rich cultural program. The Zaldibar Antzokia will host the musical Hoy no me puedo levantar, inspired by Mecano's songs, starting at 6:30 PM. The production will feature Maren Bruña from Eskoriatza, alongside students from the ECE drama academy in Madrid.
The show, set in Madrid during the 1980s, tells the story of Colate and Marta, two friends who dream of musical success and leave their village for the capital. The students have spent months working on acting, music, dance, and staging, tackling the challenge of creating a complete performance.

"It transports us to a very specific era, marked by freedom, social changes, and also by certain harsh realities. Through the story, themes such as friendship, love, personal change, or more complex problems like drugs are addressed."

Earlier, at 5:30 PM, the Casa de Cultura will present the interactive children's play in English, Welcome to the Jungle. Organized by TipiTapa guraso elkartea and Kids&Us, this experience is designed for children aged 1 to 8 and includes stories and songs.
To conclude the busy cultural schedule that kicks off the weekend, the Inkernu taberna will host a concert by the Bizkaia band Dale Kaligula at 10:00 PM. This group, formed in Berango during the pandemic, includes Ania Guijarro from Eskoriatza on bass and backing vocals. The recital promises rock, pop, and punk rhythms.
