The XXII. Apirilean Musika festival, organized by the Bergara Music and Dance School, has successfully concluded its current edition after a week-long program filled with events and significant public engagement.

Between April 20 and 26, students and teachers from the Bergara Music and Dance School presented various music and dance performances, concerts, and discussions. The festival enriched the local cultural life and culminated on Sunday, April 26, with two special performances.
In the morning, at 12:30 PM, the Bergara Music Band offered a didactic concert, supported by the youth band and the Children's Choir. The fronton was packed, and the audience applauded the performance, emphasizing the importance of music education.
In the afternoon, at Usondo Park, the symphony orchestra of the Music and Dance School gave a special concert at six in the evening. For this event, an orchestra of 40 members from Bergara, Arrasate, Oñati, Urretxu, and Zumarraga was formed, bringing together regional talent.
The orchestra performed ten pieces, with the participation of the San Joxepe Choir and music students from nearby towns. At the end of the performance, the director of the Bergara Music and Dance School gave a very positive assessment of the festival.

"With the weather we had today, being able to hold a concert in this place was wonderful. We couldn't ask for anything more."

According to the director, the festival mobilized many people throughout the week, and the organized activities were a great success. This demonstrates that Bergara is a town that cherishes culture and has a strong talent pool in both music and dance.
Although the Apirilean Musika festival has concluded, the academic year for the Music and Dance School is not yet over. More concerts and dance performances will take place in May and June, and they will also organize the XXI. Debagoiena Trikitixa Day.
