The long route will cover 35 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1,800 meters. Participants in the long route will start from Plaza Berría at 06:00 AM. The shorter route, chosen by others, will be 20 kilometers with 1,000 meters of elevation gain, starting at 08:00 AM from the same location.
Throughout the entire route, aid stations will be set up to offer food and drink to participants, managed by volunteers. The event is organized by the Soraluze Mountain Club, which noted an increase in participants completing the full route last year and encourages people to do so again this year.
As a new feature, there will be more online registration spots available this year (200). While registration will also be possible on the day of the event, only those who register online in advance will be guaranteed a meal and a t-shirt of their chosen size.
Registration opened on Tuesday and will remain open until September 23rd, or until the 200 spots are filled, via the Kirolprobak.com portal. Club members must pay 15 euros, non-members 20 euros, and those registering on the day of the event will pay 30 euros.
