Arragueta street to reopen to traffic on Wednesday after redevelopment works
Buses will resume their usual route and the Urkizu stop will become operational again.

The Eibar City Council will reopen Arragueta street to traffic on Wednesday morning, after the completion of the redevelopment works that have kept this road closed for the past few weeks.
The Local Police will proceed to open the street from 00:00 on Wednesday, in an operation that will take place between 00:00 and 02:00. Thus, vehicles will be able to circulate again on Arragueta from early Wednesday morning.
The reopening will also allow the resumption of the usual route for bus lines that circulate through this area. Therefore, from Wednesday, buses will pass through Arragueta street again and the Urkizu stop will resume its service normally. Although some finishing touches and minor repairs are still pending, the bulk of the work is completed and the street already meets the necessary conditions to resume traffic.
The intervention, with an approximate budget of 1.25 million euros, has completely transformed Arragueta. The project has included the widening of sidewalks, the renovation of the pavement, the improvement of lighting, and a new configuration of public space, with the aim of creating a more accessible, comfortable, and safe street for pedestrians and vehicles.

This action is part of the municipal commitment to continue improving Eibar's public spaces and move towards a more accessible and livable city, with streets designed to facilitate the daily lives of residents.
The City Council thanks the citizens for their understanding and cooperation during the development of the works and for the inconveniences caused by the changes in traffic and public transport.
